Amber Stockreef has over 15 years of experience in mental health, starting with at-risk youth while earning her psychology degree. After graduation, she worked as a direct support professional for individuals with developmental disabilities and in behavioral health. She then served as a Community Support Specialist in Central Missouri before joining the Department of Mental Health, where she integrated positive behavior supports while pursuing a master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Currently, Amber is nearing completion of her Doctorate in Human Services and is the Interdivisional Children’s Service Coordinator and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Missouri. She advocates for youth and families facing intellectual/developmental and behavioral health challenges and helped establish the Missouri Alliance for Dual Diagnosis (MOADD).
