Colwick, Rachel, MA, LPC, NCC

Rachel Colwick has her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Rachel is published and co-authored in two articles in the Safer Society Press. Rachel’s first publication was in the summer of 2015 titled Resolving Trauma Related Issues in Contemporary Treatment of Offenders: A Brief Review. Her second publication was in the spring of 2016 titled A Meta-Change Maintenance Model: Effective Strategies to Maintain a Pro-Social Lifestyle. Further, Rachel is a member of the professional organization, Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). Rachel has a vast amount of clinical experiencing in working with those who have suffered from mood disorders, personality disorders (such as Borderline Personality Disorder), psychotic disorders, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, grief, trauma, and self-harming behaviors, to name a few. For the last several years, Rachel has been working at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center (SORTS-Sexual Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services) and has been implementing process groups, psychoeducational groups, and individual therapy for those who are civilly committed sexual violent predators. Of note, many of the above individuals have also been diagnosed with a substance abuse disorder. Specifically, Rachel has been working with those that have moderate to severe psychopathy levels, Antisocial Personality Disorders, and Narcissistic Personality Disorders. Furthermore, Rachel has received training in Psychopathy and performs PCLR’s (The Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised). Lastly, Rachel has conducted in-house trainings to medical and clinical professionals involving but not limited to psychopathy and antisocial personality disorders.

Cox, Ryan, PhD

Dr. Cox has worked therapeutically with the LGBT community for over 7 years. Most recently, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in LGBT Interprofessional Care at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas, one of only nine such fellowships nationwide. Previous to that, Dr. Cox has worked closely with LGBT clients in a variety of other settings, including university counseling centers and community mental health centers. He has also lectured and taught on the topic of LGBT health disparities and affirmative care to professional healthcare organizations, religious organizations, medical residents, healthcare clinic, university counseling centers, various conferences, and more.

Maglio, Christopher, PhD

Dr. Christopher Maglio is a professor in the Department of Education at Truman State University where he teaches measurement, statistics, research design, psychological testing and psychological foundations of education. He has presented at more than 90 State and National conferences and has several professional publications. Dr. Maglio is a licensed psychologist and maintains a limited private practice specializing in performing psychological evaluations for the State, the courts and various private and governmental agencies. Dr. Maglio served gubernatorial appointments as a member of the Missouri State Committee of Psychologists and the Missouri Committee for Professional Counselors and currently serves on the Missouri Child Abuse and Review Board. Dr. Maglio has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (APA Accredited) from Arizona State University.

Norwine, Mark

Mark Norwine is a nationally recognized behavioral health advocate. After a Missouri high school lost three students to suicide, Mark embarked on a 200-mile walk across the state seeking to educate students and better understand the epidemic for himself. A film crew followed along and created Walking Man. The film is an honest look at Mark’s family’s journey with mental illness while also showing the need for awareness and education. He began Norwine Behavioral Health Advocates as a way to share the film and educate our communities. Mark has been married for thirty years to his beautiful and patient wife, Lisa. They have three wonderful children who have each grown up to be fantastic young adults. He loves St. Louis Cardinals baseball, wildlife and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.

Joe Wegmann is a licensed clinical social worker and a Doctor of Pharmacy with a specialty in psychopharmacology. Mobley, W. Patrick, JD

Pat Mobley graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2010. Since July 2013 he has worked as the Lead Attorney for Legal Advocacy for Adults with Mental Illness, a program of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, which is supported by a grant from the St. Louis Mental Health Board. In his role, Pat partners with local agencies providing direct services to adults with mental illness and works with staff and clients to design innovative legal strategies that will improve mental health outcomes. He provides civil legal representation for adults with mental illness in a broad range of areas.

John Cordray is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. John operates his private practice in the Greater St. Louis area. John provides counseling for all ages and specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Breedlove, Scott, MS

Scott Breedlove holds a Master of Science Degree in Addiction Studies from the University of South Dakota and has 16 years of experience working with clients and serving in various roles including counselor, supervisor, director and trainer. Scott currently serves as the Assistant Director for the Missouri Credentialing Board, teaches as an adjunct for Columbia College, has a private practice in which he conducts substance use education, parenting and anger management classes and serves as Senior Pastor at Landmark Church. Scott has been a master trainer for the ATTC Network since 2006 focusing primarily on Clinical Supervision training and Technology Based Clinical Supervision training. Scott celebrated 24 years of personal long-term recovery in September 2016 and tells his story whenever he gets a chance at recovery events, faith based events and professional conferences.
