Ronda Oswalt Reitz, Ph.D. is the Coordinator for Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at the Missouri Department of Mental Health. In this role, she is responsible for training, consultation, implementation, evaluation and supervision of all DBT services statewide.
Dr Reitz is a highly sought-after trainer and consultant of DBT for Behavioraltech Institute and The Linehan Institute, companies founded by Dr Marsha Linehan for the dissemination of DBT worldwide.
Between her work in community mental health, inpatient forensic settings, cancer support programs, and with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Dr Reitz has been a leader in DBT services for almost three decades. She is an expert in the development and implementation of comprehensive DBT programming in settings as diverse as state mental health systems, residential programs, community programs, behavioral health programs and forensic services. Dr. Reitz has been a student of Rinzai Zen for over 20 years, studying under Roshis Marsha Linehan and Alice Cabotaje.
