Ryan Peterson earned his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. He accepted an assistant professor position in the Child and Family Development Program at the University of Central Missouri in 2006. Currently he is an associate professor and undergraduate program coordinator for the Child and Family Development program and graduate coordinator for the Human Development and Family Science program. In addition, he provides professional training for community based recovery centers. His current research interests are sibling relationships, marriage and family therapy, and risky behavior.
