Dianne is the Director of Behavioral Health Workforce Development for Truman Medical Center, she has also worked as a substance abuse QMHP on the inpatient psychiatric unit at Truman Medical Center. She previously worked as a Consultant/Trainer for Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment at the University of Kansas, School of Social Welfare for over 15 years. Dianne recently completed work with SAMSHA as part of a national expert panel to develop a revised evidenced based toolkit for co-occurring disorders treatment. She also served as a faculty/consultant for the California Institute of Behavioral Health Advancing Recovery Learning Collaborative from 2012-2014. Dianne completed training with Dr. William Miller to be a Motivational Interviewing trainer and has been part of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers since 2002. Dianne provides training and consultation on a variety of topics including: Trauma Informed Care, Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment, Motivational Interviewing and Supervision of Evidenced Based Practices in Mental Health, throughout the State of Kansas, Kansas City and nationally. She has also worked as a Case Management/Supported Housing Team Leader and Case Manager in a community support program for 11 years working with adults who have a severe and persistent mental illness. Additionally, she has over 2 years’ experience working with adolescents in a drug and alcohol outpatient program.
